ELEANOR W.2 LEZENBY (Cornelius1) was born at Manchester, Lancashire, England, on 3 September 1844[1] a daughter of Cornelius Lezenby and his wife Eliza Wilson , and was baptized at the Cathedral there on 29 September.[2] She died at Camden, Camden County, New Jersey, on 23 December 1874.[3] She married at Camden on 14 May 1866 ROBERT HILLMAN PRICE.[4] He was born at New Jersey on 1842, a son of William and Sarah Price, and died at Camden on 11 December 1919.[5] He married as his second wife at Camden on 10 July 1879 ANNA LOUISA RAMBO,[6] who was born at New Jersey about September 1848.He died at Camden on 11 December 1919.[7]
The third of ten children, Ellen was about 3 years old when her family immigrated from Englnd to Pennsylvania. She was about 9 when they moved to New Jersey. She married in 1866, after the close of the Civil War, at the age of 22. Her husband, Robert Price, like her father, was a blacksmith. She was married for seven and a half years before she died at the age of thirty. In that time she had three children; at the time of her death they were ages 6, 3, and less than a year.
Robert Price, a young widower with three small children, did not remarry until four and a half years after Ellen's death. Robert was 37, Anna Louise Rombo was 30, when they married. I don't know if Rombo was her maiden name, or her name from a prior marriage. According to the 1910 Census, she had been married three times; He died at Camden on 11 December 1919.[8] however she had no children by any prior marriages.
Robert and Anna had two children; however George, born in 1879, had died by the 1900 Census, and Robert, born in 1883, had died by the 1910 Census.
Robert and Ellen Price are buried at the Evergreen Cemetery, Camden.[9]
