CHARLES HENRY MINER7 MAXFIELD (Oren6, Eliphalet5, Nathaniel4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Toulon, Stark County, Illinois on 25 April 1843 (NMGR 7:89), a child of Oren Maxfield and his wife Chloe Dexter As an adult, Charles H. M. Maxfield made his home in Fairmont, Nebraska (NMGR 7:89).
CHARLOTTE "Lottie" COOK married Charles H. M. Maxfield at Fairmont on 21 September 1875 (NMGR 7:89). Lottie, the daughter of Jay Cook of New York, was born at New York (NMGR 7:89) in December 1855 (1900 Census; 1856/7 in 1880 Census).
