JOSEPH PEASEx MAXFIELD was born at San Francisco, California, on 28 December 1887 a son of Joseph Ellwell Maxfield and his wife Harriet Mansfield. He died at San Diego, California, on 24 March 1977. He married at Boston, Massachusetts, on 20 June 1914 MILLICENT ARNOLD HARRISON. She was born at Mount Morris, Livingston County, NY, on 23 September 1893 and died on 3 June 1992.
Joseph P. Maxfield and his wife Millicent Harrison had the following children:
- KATHERINE H.10 MAXFIELD b. at New Jersey about October 1915.
- ELEANORE T.10 MAXFIELD b. at New Jersey about February 1917.
