DARWIN ELLSWORTH9 MAXFIELD was born at Paynesville, Stearns County, Minnesota, on 2 November 1934 a son of John Maxfield and his seventh wife Olive Myhre. He died at Copperas Cove, Coryell County, Texas on 5 October 2006. He married before 1955 LAVONNE JANE "Dolly" SVIEN.

Darwin Maxfield and Dolly Svien had the following children:

  1. JOHN DARWIN10 MAXFIELD b. at Mower Co., MN, on 15 February 1955.
  2. DEBBRA RAE10 MAXFIELD b. at Ellis Co., TX, on 30 October 1957; m. at Kempner, Lampasas Co., TX, on 18 June 1977 STEVEN EARL DAVIS.
