ERNEST GEORGE9 MAXFIELD (Frederick8, William7, David6, possibly Isaac5, David4, Eliphalet3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Nebraska on 19 March 1900 (SSDI; WWI Draft) a child of Frederick Maxfield and his wife Sarah Dale

Ernest registered for the draft at Logan County, Colorado on 12 September 1918 (WWI Draft). He reported the following:

At the time of the 1920 census Ernest was living with his parents at their farm in Logan County, single, working on the home farm.

About 1922 Ernest married MARIE ________, and in 1930 they were living at 164 Cicero Avenue, Chicago (1930 census 462:2B):

They were married at the ages of 22 and 19, respectively, which would place their marriage eight years before the census. They rented their apartment at $55 per month.

Ernest George Maxfield married as his second wife FLORENCE MAE KEE, at Loveland, Weld County, Colorado, on 8 August 1935 (CO M). A karosene explosion seriously injured Florence (Kee) Maxfield and her mother on 10 July 1938. Florence died at Loveland, Colorado on 13 July 1938 (Greeley Tribune, 11 Jul 1938, p. 10; 13 Jul 1938).

Ernest George Maxfield died at Mount Vernon, Skagit County, Washington, on 17 November 1988 (SSDI; WA D)
