LINCOLN CORNELIUS9 MAXFIELD (James8, Moses7, James6, Eliphalet5-4-3, Nathaniel2, John1) was born at Payette, Canyon County, Idaho, on 30 October 1894 (WWI Draft; 1900 census; Pierson), a child of James Henri Maxfield and his wife Minta Bowerman.

Lincoln Maxfield married MARY ELSIE HARRISON at Hill City, Camas County, Idaho, on 24 December 1913 (Western M; Pierson). Mary was born at Joplin, Missouri, on 15 January 1896 (SSDI; Pierson), a child of John Baker Harrison and his wife Elizabeth Hendrickson.

Lincoln Maxfield registered for the draft (WWI Draft) at Camas County, Idaho, on 5 June 1917, reporting the following:

The 1920 census (287:6A) reported Lincoln and Mary Maxfield and three children at 2214 North 14th Street, Boise, Idaho. Lincoln's occupation is obscured by an ink blot. Their ages were Lincoln, 25, Mary, 23, Lorene, 5, Earnest, 3 years and one month, and Harold, 4 months.

The 1930 census reported this family in the Town of Halfway, Baker County, Oregon:

According to this record, Lincoln and Mary married at ages 19 and 17 respectively. The birth places of the children indicate the family moved to Oregon about 1921.

Lincoln C. Maxfield died at Emmett, Gem County, Idaho, on 29 April 1954 (Pierson). His widow Mary Maxfield died there on 24 November 1988 (SSDI; Pierson).
