He married first at Baker County, Florida, on 6 July 1979 DENISE MARIE BELLIVEAU. She was born at Newport, Orleans County, Vermont, about 1961/2. He married second at Fletcher, Franklin County, on 5 August 1989 KATHLEEN ANN WRIGHT. She was born at Vermont on 20 March 1961. They divorced at Franklin County on 28 October 1993. Kathleen (Wright) Maxfield married as her second husband at Fairfax, Franklin County, on 1 April 2000 SAMUEL R. OVITT

Charles Maxfield and his first wife Denise Belliveau had the following children:
