First Generation

WILLIAM1 MAXFIELD was born at London England in 1779 (Tom Maxfield; England, 1780/1 in 1850 census). He came to America, probably some time after his son John, who came in 1835, and before the 1850 census. That census reported William living with his son John, in Brooklyn, New York. William was a carpenter. He died in 1855 (Tom Maxfield).

William Maxfield had the following child:
